Welcome to Jha Family cooking videos. Lobia Beans also called Black Eyed Peas or Cow Peas in English, Rongi or Chawli in Marathi, Karamani in Tamil and Perum Payaru in Malayalam. Lobia beans is a very nutritious pulse. Each serving of 100 grams provides close to 8 grams of protein.
Lobia is cooked in a spicy onion tomato gravy. It can be paired best with paratha, phulka, and rice.
Ingredients:
2-3 cup Lobia
4 tbsp Oil
1 tsp Cumin Seeds
1 cup Onion (paste)
2 tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
1 cup Tomato (paste)
1 tbsp Coriander Powder
1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
1/2 tsp Red Chilli Powder
1/2 tsp Garam Masala Powder
Salt to taste
